LEO Vouchers for Digital Projects

Your Local Enterprise Office offers voucher schemes that can help fund off-the-shelf digital tools and online trading. Here's what's actually covered, what isn't, and how we can help you figure out which path fits.

Two LEO Voucher Schemes

The Grow Digital Voucher is the main current scheme; the older Trading Online Voucher has largely been folded into it, though availability varies by office. Here's what each covers.

Trading Online Voucher

For websites & online trading

Covers development or upgrade of an e-commerce website, online payments, booking systems, and online advertising.

  • Up to €2,500 (50% of eligible costs)
  • Can avail of up to 2 vouchers total
  • Websites, e-commerce, online booking
  • Online advertising (subject to limits)

Note: largely superseded by the Grow Digital Voucher — check with your LEO whether it's still offered in your area.

Grow Digital Voucher

For business software & digital tools

Covers eligible business software subscriptions that are new to the business — stock control, payroll, AI tools, cyber security, and similar.

  • Up to €5,000 (50% of eligible costs)
  • Requires completing Digital for Business programme first
  • Off-the-shelf software subscriptions (max 1 year)
  • 1–50 employees, turnover under €10m
  • Off-the-shelf only — excludes custom/bespoke software

How We Can Help

We're a Cork-based software developer. Here's the honest picture of where the vouchers fit our work — and where they don't.

Off-the-Shelf Tools (voucher-eligible)

The Grow Digital Voucher funds ready-made software subscriptions — CRM, accounting, booking, stock control, cyber security. If one of those would solve your problem, we'll tell you honestly and point you to it. That's exactly what the voucher is for.

Custom Software & Websites (not voucher-eligible)

Our own work — bespoke web apps, client portals, internal tools, and custom websites — is not covered by the Grow Digital Voucher, which excludes custom and bespoke development. We'd rather say that up front than imply otherwise.

Our pricing: websites from €500, custom tools from €3,000

We Help You Decide

Not sure whether you need a ready-made tool (possibly voucher-funded) or something custom? A free, no-pitch review will tell you which makes sense for your business — including when doing nothing is the right call.

Important note

Voucher eligibility and availability depend on your business circumstances and your local office, and the schemes change over time. Always confirm with your Local Enterprise Office what your specific project qualifies for before committing.

General Eligibility

Both schemes are generally available to:

  • Small businesses with 1 to 50 employees
  • Businesses based in Ireland
  • Turnover under €10 million (EU SME definition)

Additional requirements vary by scheme. The Grow Digital Voucher requires completing a Digital for Business programme. The Trading Online Voucher has its own criteria. Contact your LEO for full details.
